1. When and where will the conference take place?
The 1st International Safewards Conference will be held on 9–10 November 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic, at the Orea Hotel Pyramida.

2. How can I register?
You can register online via the [Registration] page. Early bird registration is available until 30 May 2026, and regular registration until 15 October 2026.

3. How much does it cost to attend?
Early bird (until 30 May 2026): €395
Regular (until 15 October 2026): €455
Social event (optional): €70
The fee includes access to all sessions, lunch, and coffee breaks. Social event is optional and requires a separate ticket (€70).

4. Can I submit an abstract?
Yes! We warmly invite submissions in English from staff, researchers, service users, and carers. Abstracts can be submitted via the online form (available from October 2025).

5. What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations received before 31 August 2026 will be refunded, with a €100 administration fee deducted.
After this date, fees are non-refundable, but you may transfer your registration to another participant free of charge.

6. How do I pay the registration fee?
Payments are accepted by bank transfer only.

• Invoices will be sent to your email within 7 days of registration.
• All invoices must be paid within 28 days.
• All bank transfer fees are covered by the sender, so that the full amount of the registration fee is received by Safewards Conference.

7. How do I book accommodation?
We have secured special rates at the Orea Hotel Pyramida for conference participants (8–11 November 2026). Bookings must be made before 14 September 2026 to secure these prices. More details are on the Venue & Accommodation page.

8. How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

• Prague has an excellent public transport system. From Václav Havel Airport (PRG):
  Take trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín, then metro line A to Hradčanská, then tram 25 to Malovanka. The hotel is just 100 m from the stop.
• The trip takes around 35–45 minutes.
• Taxi or ride apps (Uber, Bolt, Liftago) take 20 minutes and cost around €15–25.

9. Is there a social programme?
Yes, there will be a social evening on 9 November 2026. This is optional and requires a separate ticket (€70). It’s a great chance to relax and meet colleagues in a friendly atmosphere.

10. Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, all participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

11. Which language will be used?
The official conference language is English. No translation is provided.
